Since ancient times, people have taken notice of the trajectory of the Sun, as it is the source of all the fires of life. Originating from Celtic, Norse, and Germanic mythologies, the 'Wheel of the Year' is the concept of celebrating the turns of the four seasons and halfway points between them. The Winter Solstice, also known as Yule in the Wheel of the Year, marks the first day of winter and longest night of the year, with daylight slowly returning the following day, promising another growing season.
One way to celebrate this holy day is to participate in a Solstice Spiral Ceremony. This ceremony symbolizes our inner journey, relationship to the divine, and the light we all carry.
